Farewell 2015

So, another year passes under the bridge. This one has been a massive roller coaster. From the saddest on March 11, to a much happier July on. It has found me much more balanced and looking forward again. A series of money hemorrhages has me thinking austerity again. Not a bad thing, but was hoping to be better by now. There's always 2016.

Hope all my friends have a good new year and lets get 2016 rolling in the right direction.

Been a long Time

Well. It's been a long time since I wrote on here. There has been a quite a bit go on.

I have a new woman in my life. Her name is Lisa. I never would have believed I could move on. That I could be on the path to being happy. To get my equilibrium back. Balanced.

I owe a debt to several friends for so many things over the last two years. They have been the hardest of my life with the exception of losing Mom in '93. Thanks to so many.

My life is still in a state of flux but it seems to finally be moving forward. I hope to post some more positive things now.

Vintage Photo Shoot

So a friend of mine organized a photo shoot in the West Bottoms with models and vintage cars. It was a fun, albeit cold day. These were all shot with my Nikon D5100 and either my 34mm f1.8 or 50mm f1.8. Days like this are always a bit strange for me. I tend to like to shoot candids more than posed pictures. Some of my favorites from the day are the ones I got while others were doing their thing. Enjoy...
 Jake and Ellwood
My favorite of the day.                           The 20s were roaring.

Wardrobe malfunctions are a constant hazard.

It was a great time and you can check out some of the other shots on Cain Photography.

Gallery Show

I know this is SHORT notice, however;

Jan 2, 2015 (TONIGHT) Kamryn and I will have a few images on display at a Gallery in the Crossroads for First Friday! It will be an audition show and hopefully, with positive feedback, lead to a larger show this summer. Hope to see you tonight and if not, check back for updates on the summer!
